NAMASTE ~ With yoga and meditation I find balance. Did you know that Earth also…

With yoga and meditation I find balance. Did you know that Earth also has her own definition of balance? It’s called Holocene. Holocene has provide the whole world with a stable climate and different seasons for a while now. With other words perfect conditions to thrive and develop. Now, scientists all over the world are suggesting that we’re in the age of Anthropocene. The age of humans. With other words, we have disturbed Earth’s balance which among other things result in an unstable climate. One of the main problems are our view on consuming. Over-consuming are seen as the normal way to consume (at least where I’m from). We’ve kind of forgotten our origin and are in many was separated from nature. One fact that helps me consume less and that I try to involve in my everyday thinking are, “everything comes from nature”. All our stuff, food and material are provided by the eco-systems and their different services. Next time you buy something, try to imagine where it comes from and which resources that where needed for the production off it. Without ecosytems we simply wouldn’t be here. Let’s take care of them and give nature the respect it deserves. 💚

I’m born in January 1996 in the arctic city Kiruna, Sweden. My life on skis started at the age of 3 years at “Loussavaarabacken”. Alpine skiing has been my main focus during my skiing career until the season 16/17. This year has been spent down in the alps on my first freeride season. With new goals and dreams my main focus for this season was to compete on the FWQ-tour. Skiing is undoubtedly my biggest passion. Doesn’t matter if I ski in the piste, off-pist or touring in the backcountry. A day in the ski-boots is a good day!
