F\u00f6r lite mer \u00e4n tio \u00e5r sedan genomf\u00f6rde LTU, i samarbete med Lule\u00e5 kommun, en unders\u00f6kning om hur m\u00e4nniskor ser p\u00e5 Lule\u00e5 kommun. Unders\u00f6kningen anv\u00e4ndes som underlag till utvecklingsprojekt i Lule\u00e5.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Genom att unders\u00f6ka bilden av kommunen har vi kunnat utveckla de omr\u00e5den d\u00e4r vi var svaga. F\u00f6r tio \u00e5r sedan ans\u00e5gs vi inte som charmiga, men det var n\u00e5got vi ville vara. Genom att rusta upp bland annat Norra och S\u00f6dra hamn har Lule\u00e5 blivit en mer charmig stad, s\u00e4ger Tim Foster, bitr\u00e4dande professor vid LTU och forts\u00e4tter:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Det ska bli sp\u00e4nnande att se vad resultaten fr\u00e5n v\u00e5r nya unders\u00f6kning visar nu tio \u00e5r senare och vilka projekt det kommer leda till. Tim Foster tror att en av framg\u00e5ngsfaktorerna till att f\u00e5 studenterna att stanna \u00e4r att f\u00e5 dem att uppleva hela staden.<\/p>\n

\u2013 M\u00e5nga studenter ser inte hela staden, utan de fastnar p\u00e5 Pors\u00f6n. Det g\u00f6r att de missar allt som staden har att erbjuda.<\/p>\n

Trivseln \u00e4r en viktig del i studentlivet. Lule\u00e5 studentk\u00e5r och Teknologk\u00e5ren arbetar f\u00f6r att studenter ska f\u00e5 en bra studietid vid universitetet.<\/p>\n
