Esbj\u00f6rn Svensson Trio is one of the most influential and significant bands in European jazz. Their success story came to an abrupt end when Esbj\u00f6rn Svensson tragically passed away in 2008, but the music and enthusiasm surrounding the band continue to live on. Now, <\/strong>the audience in Skellefte\u00e5 has a unique opportunity to experience a tribute to the trio\u2019s distinctive sound when 30 Years of e.s.t. \u2013 Tribute to Esbj\u00f6rn Svensson Trio<\/em> takes the stage at Sara kulturhus on May 23 \u2013 the group's only performance in Sweden!<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2013 It\u2019s not every day that you get the honor of booking the top tier of Swedish jazz musicians for the same night. Dan and Magnus were original members of Esbj\u00f6rn Svensson Trio, so this will be an exclusive concert as close to the original as possible, now that Esbj\u00f6rn Svensson is no longer with us,<\/em> says Sofia Andersson Lundberg, Program Director at Sara kulturhus.<\/p>\n The musicians in this project already have established and successful careers, making the ongoing success of this tribute even more remarkable.
